Administration/Finance Assistant

Freshfield Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious Administration/Finance Assistant to work within our busy school office.

As one of the first points of contact you must have a friendly personality, be committed to providing excellent customer service and be confident in communicating with people via telephone, email and face to face.

We are looking for someone with a strong administrative background (not necessarily in a school setting) who has the drive and enthusiasm to learn new skills and be able to adapt quickly.  You will be used to working to strict deadlines and have the ability to multitask.  You will be confident in the use of Google and Microsoft applications (Word and Excel) and be keen to learn other IT systems.

Your day to day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) answering telephone calls and taking messages, dealing with parents and pupils, placing orders, paying invoices, reconciling payments via our Management Information System (Arbor), stock control and administering and reconciling petty cash.
