Senior Legal Assistant

A Senior Legal Assistant is required in the Children and Adults team in the Sefton Legal Services Department.

The successful applicant will have relevant legal qualifications and/or experience in a legal team dealing with child protection.

The post holder will carry a case load of private Law work and will assist the Lawyers in the team with Public Law work. This will include but is not limited to: making application to court, drafting orders, letters of instructions to experts and general case management of care proceedings and other cases in public and private law.

The post holder will also be expected to be able to use Sefton Legal Services’ case management system to create bundles and redact documents for filing in proceedings.
