 About the role / service

 The Highway Development Team ensure the quality, safety and sustainability of the Highways and Transport infrastructure serving new developments.

The role of Senior Engineer Section 38 is a vital part of this process, working with developers to enable approval of their detailed design proposals for new highway infrastructure, all the way through to construction approval on site and final adoption by the Council.

 About you

You will have degree or equivalent experience in an engineering or transport related discipline, along with a detailed and up to date knowledge of appropriate legislation and highway design standards and be able to apply this in all communications, working with developers to achieve high standards of development and protect the Council’s interests.
