L2 Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistants - Level 2

The Governors of this happy, successful and thriving school are seeking to appoint at least one Teaching Assistant at Level 2, mornings only. The post is initially until July 2025 when it will be reviewed.
We are looking for people who are:-
• Self motivated, enthusiastic and reliable
• Passionate about working with children to help develop their potential
• Had some experience in working with children in school
• Committed to the whole school community and be prepared to be actively involved in the life of the school
• Committed to the safeguarding of children
This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong team of teachers and support staff who work closely together to provide the very best education for the children of Farnborough Road.
Farnborough Road Junior School is required under law and guidance to check the criminal background of all employees. Decisions to appoint will be subject to consideration of an enhanced disclosure, including a Barred List check, from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’. This means that they do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
