Engagement Lead – Heat Networks
Working as an Engagement Lead in Heat Networks Zones during this exciting chapter in climate action is a fantastic opportunity. We are looking to recruit a motivated and committed individual who will build capacity and capability across Local Authorities to support heat zone designation in preparation for Heat Network Zoning legislation.
Working closely with the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) you will play a pivotal role in preparing local and regional government for Heat Network zoning. You will be proactive in managing change, build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders by communicating the vision and benefits of the programme in a compelling manner.
About the role:
You will play a key part in supporting Heat Networks Zones across the North West. Part of the North West Net Zero Hub programme, you will support growing the capacity of the region to act on Net Zero.
The North West Net Zero Hub Team is a group of project development and energy and environmental sector professionals who lead on some of the most exciting and transformational projects across the North West. The Team is based within the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority working with partners across the North West.
Secondments will be considered.
About the person:
- You will have a passion for the net zero agenda, and although an interest in or understanding of Heat Networks Zones is advantageous, training will be provided
- You will be an adept communicator
- You will be experienced in stakeholder engagement or change management
