Stadium & Market Facilities Manager
Are you an experienced Facilities Manager that wants to join our newly created service area with responsibility for maintaining two of Halton’s key assets, The DCBL Stadium, Halton and Widnes Market.
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Facilities team. No two days will be same, so this role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the day-to-day operational management and delivery of facilities management services through our in-house teams, working alongside colleagues and contractors across the Authority to deliver on hard and soft services within the service area.
The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with all statuary legislation, with specific line management responsibilities. The successful candidate will work with colleagues from across the Authority to set and maintain standards within the service area.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work in a stadium and retail environment, with the opportunity to be involved in exciting events such as rugby, football, music concerts and community events.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience in a management role, covering maintenance, cleaning and building works along with a working knowledge of relevant regulations and health and safety.
Events take place all year round, and at different times and days, so you may be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekends to fulfil particular business needs.
For further information about the role and the benefits of working at Halton, please see job profile for the role attached below.
For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Bruce Reardon (Service Manager) on 0151 511 6130
Interviews will be held week commencing 28th October.
