Service Manager - Safeguarding and Review

Are you child centred, family focussed, motivated, skilled leader looking for rewarding work in a dynamic borough?

Sefton Council is looking to hire a new Service Manager for its Safeguarding and Quality Assurance team to oversee ongoing improvements in Sefton’s Children’s Services and give children, young people and families the service they deserve.

You will be a critical operational and strategic leader ensuring there are effective safeguarding functions of our Children’s Services with the support and guidance of the Assistant Director for Safeguarding and Quality Assurance as well as be given time and opportunities to develop your strategic and leadership skills for the future.

This role is perfect for someone with a track record of safeguarding and practice improvement who can evidence the positive impact they have made on service delivery and positive outcomes for children and their families.  This role is an opportunity for someone to develop and hone skills for future progression and learn from a wide range of senior leaders from a variety of backgrounds. This role will have a big impact on Sefton’s Children’s Services, and leading a team with compassion, intelligence and passion.
