Are you looking for a role working with Children with Complex Needs?

A rewarding and exciting opportunity has arisen in our team, and we want someone passionate, enthusiastic and driven to join us to help children with complex needs be safe, happy and thriving.

To fit with our Sefton team, you must be able to lead with compassion, intelligence and passion. For this specific role you must have unlimited drive to  want the best for children with complex needs and their families.

In this role you will oversee the Children with Complex Needs Service with the support and guidance of the Assistant Director for Early Help, Targeted Services and Support & Protection. You will be given the time and opportunity to develop your strategic and leadership skills for the future as well as leading a team focused on stability and permanence for children.

Your role will oversee the welfare of vulnerable children and young people, oversee the operational Children With Complex Needs Teams and play an integral part of building the new 0-25 service in Sefton for children and young people with additional or complex needs.

This role is perfect for someone with a track record of working with children with complex needs at a senior level and managing a diverse portfolio of teams who can evidence the positive impact they have had on service delivery and lives of children, young people and families. This role is integral to our continued improvement in Sefton Children’s Services and we hope any candidate shares our drive and determination to build the service our families deserve.
