Job requirements:
The governors are seeking to appoint 2 x welfare assistant who are enthusiastic and totally committed to maintaining the high standards already established and becoming part of a hardworking team. The successful candidate would be required to supervise pupils during the lunch period, in the dining hall and playground areas and school premises, ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of pupils and the maintenance of good order and discipline.
The successful candidate will be:
Committed to promoting and ensuring good behaviour and a calm atmosphere,
Confident dealing with any misbehaviour that may occur in accordance with the school’s behaviour policy,
Able to address issues calmly and politely and in doing so be a positive role model to the children,
Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.
