The role:
The Parking Services team within Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate is growing and we are currently looking to recruit a small number of Car Park Supervisors to join us at this exciting time!
The Car Park Supervisor role involves administering an efficient and effective delivery of parking enforcement and other parking service provisions for all designated parking areas. The Car Park Supervisor oversees the work of the Car Park Attendants and reports to the Car Park and Customer Manager on all activities, including reports, incidents, grievances, training, staff levels and recruitment. Maintaining effective working relationships with suppliers and contractors and ensuring all forms of correspondence are compliant with statutory guidelines and GDPR are both key to this role.
The role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, manual handling and patrolling on foot for extended periods. It also involves working shifts and you will receive shift allowance and weekend enhancements as determined by your rota. We work various shifts from 6:00am-2:00pm, 10:30am-6:30pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm and 10:00pm-6:00am.
