The Role:
The post is a Technical Professional (Oracle DBA) role in the Database Support Team and the successful candidate will provide professional, technical expertise and will also be responsible to provide support to the Team Leader as they provide professional/technical Oracle database support to meet LCC customers day-by-day needs.
The Database Team is an integral part of ICT Teams providing support to all ICT Operation Teams, Design, Project Management and Finance Teams within the Division. Supporting and maintaining the core infrastructure for Oracle Database Technologies. Monitoring and maintaining, safe and secure access to data covering all Oracle environments for all LCC staff.
- Work alongside Technical Specialist to provide daily support for Oracle based systems and Manage complex Oracle based systems and also provide daily system health checks report.
- Support Technical Specialist with the ongoing business improvements to LCC Oracle based databases including the quarterly Oracle Preventative Maintenance implementation.
- Work on Business-as-usual tasks which includes the management and technical support of faults to backups/restores of databases and meeting customer service level agreements.
