The Role:

  • As a Senior Business Support Officer you will be required to provide high quality business support to the Independent Reviewing Officers & Child Protection Chairs in the delivery of statutory responsibilities within the Quality Assurance & Safeguarding Unit
  • The Senior Business Support Officer will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of arranging statutory Child Protection Conferences & Looked After Children Review and will involve liaising with social workers, team managers and Independent Reviewing Officers via verbal and electronic correspondence, collating paperwork, and agendas
  • In the role as a senior Business Support Officer will be required to complete detailed minute taking and record decision making on electronic systems therefore you will have experience of taking accurate minutes or experience of detailed report writing
  • The Senior Business Support Officer will have experience of arranging a variety of meetings, preparing agendas, arranging venues, circulation of pre agenda items, distribution of minutes and outcomes from meetings is essential
  • As the Senior Business Support Officer you must have the ability to produce quality work within highly pressurised and time restricted situations is essential
