The Role: 

  • This high-profile fixed term Development Management role will provide critical support to a busy planning enforcement team, taking a lead on key high profile projects
  • It is an exciting opportunity to expand your planning enforcement experience and use your initiative to lead on the management of a project or key enforcement caseload; defining key milestones, targets and making sure actions are completed to agreed timescales
  • The role of a Senior Enforcement Officer will include working pro-actively with colleagues across the council and will require regular reporting to senior management and members on progress
  • The project(s) will have clear outcomes and timescales and the successful applicant will gain not only interesting experience, but a great sense of achievement

This role is fixed term for 1 year to meet corporate and political priorities regarding planning enforcement.
