Seasonal Cemetery Operative

Bereavement Services are a small team operating within the Operational In House Services Directorate providing Burial, Cremation, Exhumation and Memorialisation facilities throughout the district of Sefton.We are seeking to appoint several Operatives (Seasonal x5) to work within our Bereavement Services Team.

You will work as part of a team to undertake a range of grounds and public realm maintenance and development work such as sweeping, emptying litter bins, strimming and grass cutting in all weather conditions. Uniform including PPE is provided
You must be physically capable of undertaking the full range of duties as required by the post.

You should also have excellent communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.

The team are looking for 5 seasonal staff to start in April 2025.
