About Us:
Join our dynamic new team dedicated to transforming Children’s Services in Sefton. Working with the Children’s Senior Leadership team to provide specialist transformation management capability to support and drive the Children’s Services transformational change and development agenda. We are passionate about improving services and outcomes for children, young people, and families in our community. You will be pivotal to the successful development and delivery of Children’s Services specific and cross cutting Council transformation programmes, leading to continuous improvement in service delivery and performance across the Council that will deliver, and lead to better outcomes for children, young people and families.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Manager to assist the Programme Manager and the wider team in delivering specific projects as part of Children’s Services transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in managing and delivering strategic transformation projects that aim to enhance services for our children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Programme Manager and the wider team to ensure successful project delivery in line with the transformation agenda.
- Lead and manage strategic transformation projects, focusing on improving services and outcomes for children, young people, and families.
- Partner with teams and managers to develop comprehensive project plans that are executed within agreed timelines and efficiently.
- Facilitate cultural change and embed new practices alongside teams to foster a positive and sustainable transformation environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in managing transformation projects
- Experience of working within a children’s services context.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with teams and stakeholders.
- A collaborative approach to working with others, with a focus on cultural change and improvement.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
