An opportunity has arisen within the Payments and Billing team for a full-time post of Clerical Officer.  The main duties of the team are to ensure that payments are made to adult social care providers and that client charges are processed accurately.  You will also be responsible for dealing with queries from providers and clients regarding payments and charges via a range of written and verbal channels.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills as this role will involve liaising with clients, their appointed representatives, care managers and providers as necessary to resolve queries.  

You will also have experience of working in a finance setting, with excellent numeracy skills.   An ability to demonstrate attention to detail, work to deadlines and manage and prioritise your own workload is essential, as is experience of using Microsoft Office products, and an ability to learn new I.T. systems.
