Sefton Council is looking for a number of dedicated Senior Social Workers to join our dynamic Children’s Social Care teams across Assessments.
In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a complex and varied caseload, lead multi-agency planning, and deliver life-changing support to children, young people, and families. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for our most vulnerable residents.

What we’re looking for:
- A qualified social worker with extensive experience in statutory children’s services
- SWE registration
- A confident, skilled communicator with a strong grasp of legislation, assessment frameworks, and child-centred practice
