Are you passionate about managing records? This role provides practical support and guidance for the delivery of effective paper and electronic information asset management, under GDPR and the Freedom of Information Act. Do you have skills and experience in administration of records including cataloguing and indexing files. Do you understand retention policies and classification. If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this role.

Knowledge of classification of stock/records using internationally recognised classification scheme would be needed.

The role involves guiding users in utilising emerging records management functionality of KMBC’s electronic systems and assisting in conversion of paper records into electronic medium. As well as coordinating the internal Paper Records Management service and reviewing files against record retention guidelines.

A good general standard of education (GCSEs, NVQ) is essential. A qualification in Information Management or Records management or Librarianship or Administration would be desirable.

Interviews to take place week commencing August the 4th 2025.
