Green Sefton manages Sefton’s landscape including our beaches, coast, parks, nature reserves, and woodlands. We manage a wide range of recreational facilities in these places, including children’s playgrounds, outdoor sports pitches, municipal golf courses, as well as handling the public’s use and enjoyment of all..
This role sits within our small Administration Team and is based in our main office at Ainsdale Discovery Centre, from where you would be expected to undertake a range of administration tasks in support of the wider service.
The main duties of the admin team are to provide business support across the Green Sefton service, handling a range of data management resources to ensure effective communications with our customers, and with staff and other colleagues.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills as this role involves liaising with customers and fellow colleagues to resolve business queries, and ensuring our administration systems and files are managed correctly.
You will have had existing experience of working in an administration (office) setting, with excellent literacy and numeracy skills. An ability to use Microsoft Office is essential, as is the drive to learn new I.T. systems which we operate for administration, financial management and when servicing the needs of our customers.
We are looking for an applicant who is self-motivated and enthusiastic about engaging with people, and handling customer queries including face to face queries.
