Early Development Link Worker
Location: Linacre, Bootle
Contract: Full-time (35 hrs), fixed-term until September 2027. This post is not term time only.
Salary: £25,992 per annum

Thanks to funding from Cradle to Career, we are looking to recruit two Early Development Link Workers to support the wellbeing and school readiness of children in the Linacre area of Bootle.
This is a community-based role, working directly with families, schools, nurseries, health visitors, and local organisations to ensure every child has the best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support families to access the school readiness framework.
- Build strong relationships with parents and professionals.
- Map existing services and help develop new local groups.
- Facilitate parent-led activities, workshops, and warm welcome groups.
- Represent parent/carer voices in local strategy discussions.
- Promote and signpost families to local resources and opportunities.
We are seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in working with families/children.
- A strong communicator, able to build trust and connections.
- Knowledgeable about school readiness and community needs.
- Organised, IT literate, and able to work independently.
- Flexible, empathetic, and passionate about early childhood development.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
Please note: These roles are funded through Cradle to Career. However, post holders will be recruited and line managed by Christ Church CE Primary School Bootle.
