We are looking for a Senior Technical and Quality Assurance Officer to join our Quality Assurance Team within Neighbourhood Services. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that our frontline services are delivered to the highest standards and in line with regulatory and corporate expectations. 

About the Role: 

Lead on the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance frameworks across a range of environmental and neighbourhood services.

Provide expert technical advice and support to operational teams, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

Conduct audits, inspections, and service reviews, identifying areas for improvement and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.

Support the maintenance and development of our Quality Management System, including ISO 9001 compliance.

Collaborate with service managers, frontline staff, and external partners to embed a culture of continuous improvement and performance excellence.

About You: 

Has experience in a technical or quality assurance role, ideally within a local authority or similar public service setting.

Holds a relevant qualification in quality management, environmental services, or a related field

Has practical experience of working with ISO 9001 or other recognised Quality Management Systems.

Demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Is confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
