Greenacre Nursery School are looking to employ a Midday Supervisor to cover lunchtimes at the school for 7.5 hours per week.

We are an inclusive school with SEN and mainstream pupils from age 2-5.

The role is to supervise pupils during the lunch period, in the classroom and playground areas, ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of pupils.

The successful candidate will be:

Committed to promoting and ensuring good behaviour and a calm atmosphere,

Able to address issues in a positive manner and model expected behaviour from children,

Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.

Paediatric First Aid and Safer Food Handling qualified is preferred but training can be provided to the successful applicant if required.

Due to the nature of work, the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation, and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
