Social Housing Support Officer
The Strategic Housing and Investment Team are responsible for overseeing Sefton’s strategic housing function, including the development and delivery of the Council’s Housing Strategy, investment programmes, housing led regeneration, social housing growth, homeless commissioning and social housing allocations.
Job requirements:
Working as part of a small team, in this role the postholder will provide support to the Social Housing Programme including day to day oversight of services delivered to council tenants, supporting governance and providing finance and administrative support.
The post holder will work closely with service providers, particularly the Council’s Housing Management Agent who will provide housing management and maintenance services to council tenants. The post holder will be a key point of contact in the council for customer service and engagement ensuring that customers receive the highest quality service for the homes they live in. The post holder will lead on tenant engagement, ensuring tenants are supported in the involvement in the management of their homes working closely and liaising with the management agent.
In addition, the post holder will support the management and monitoring of performance, provide project management support for the Social Housing Programme and support with statutory returns.
