Business Support Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Public Protection Service in Sefton. A busy and vibrant department undertaking statutory and regulatory functions across Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Licensing. We are looking to recruit a part time Business Support Assistant who will be required to provide administrative support for all teams within the Public Protection Service.
The successful applicant should have excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills and able to multi-task with a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide a full range of administrative services including undertake word processing and other ICT based tasks, the production of letters, reports, schedules, uploading information and data inputting onto relevant databases.
- Provide clerical support, e.g. reprographics, photocopying, filing, emailing, faxing and completing routine forms.
- Establish and maintain Service information, records and or management information systems and procedures (manual and computerised) including specific detailed case histories as required.
- Receive and respond to public enquiries, liaise with other Services and Process land charge enquiries.
