Business Support Assistant - Children's Social Care

Children’s Social Care, Children with Complex Needs – Business Support
There is a permanent, full-time vacancy.

The successful applicant will have responsibility for providing admin support for the team including: supporting the team with the Sefton Liquid Logic database, typing, telephone duties and any other admin duties within the teams.

Applicant would ideally understand the Departments financial duties as defined in current and future Children with Disabilities and Children Act legislation, and how this is applies to financial payments made by the Children’s Service. 

The applicant will be required to process payments using the Councils electronic Payment systems (Agresso and ContrOCC). Ensuring that all requests for payment have been calculated correctly and regular on-going payments are not duplicated.

The applicant will be required to maintained client records in accordance with departmental policy. Ensure that all appropriate client information is included in the computerised database.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The post requires the ability to be able to work under pressure in a team setting. A flexible approach is necessary.This post is subject to Local Government Pension Scheme
