About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position of Principal Manager (Client Support) based within Adult Social Care.
As Principal Manager (Client Support) you will be responsible for managing diverse service areas in order to support Adult Social Care activities, including Financial Assessments, Payments and Billing and Self-Directed Support. You will contribute to strategic and policy developments in Client Support, ensuring that the Service can respond to new challenges, priorities and requirements.
You must be able to demonstrate that you can meet the Council’s statutory obligations and use resources in the most effective and efficient manner, including exploring opportunities to maximise income within Adult Social Care and ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to minimise debt and reduce risk for the Council.
We are looking for someone with a solution focused approach to problem solving, who can make decisions of a highly complex nature with consideration of associated risk. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a proven record of developing partnerships with internal and external organisations.
We are looking for an applicant who is self-motivated and enthusiastic, who can operate effectively with a high-volume and diverse workload.
