Mersey Ferries is entering a defining moment. With the construction of the Royal Daffodil — the first new Mersey Ferry in more than 60 years — our fleet is undergoing major renewal and modernisation.
We are now recruting for a 12 month fixed term vacancy.
We are seeking a Vessel Engineer with a Marine Electrical specialism, including High Voltage (HV) competence, to join us at this exciting point in our journey.

What You’ll Bring
Essential
- •Time-served Marine Engineer (Level 3 minimum)
- •A formal, recognised qualification in Marine Electrical Engineering (or closely related discipline)
- •High Voltage (HV) training, with evidence of competence
- •Strong understanding of electrical safety, isolation and compliance

- •Confidence to ask questions and challenge safely
- •Clear communication and teamwork
- •Willingness to learn and share knowledge
