Mersey Ferries is part of the Liverpool City Region’s identity, with a history stretching back more than 800 years. Today, we’re looking firmly to the future — including the arrival of our brand-new vessel, the Royal Daffodil, in 2026.

We are now recruting for a 12 month fixed term vacancy.

We want to hear from people who may never have considered working on the water before.

You do not need to have worked outdoors, on boats, or in transport before — we will train and support you fully.

When you join us, you’ll receive structured, paid training in:

• •Maritime safety and emergency procedures
• •Deck operations and passenger care
• •Working confidently and safely on board

You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and never expected to “just know” how things work.
