As our Executive Director of Adults Services, you will play a strategic role ensuring resources are deployed effectively to achieve the best possible balance between provision and value for money. With a clear focus on delivering high-quality outcomes whilst navigating the challenges of increasing demand and financial constraints, you will support Members in developing their vision and priorities.

Your Contributions:
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Adult Social Care in Halton, undertaking the statutory responsibilities attached to the Director of Adults Social Services (DASS) role to ensure high-quality, efficient service delivery. We’re seeking a senior leader who can gain respect across the entire system, both within Halton and across the Liverpool City Region, and Cheshire & Warrington Sub-Region, to represent Halton and deliver results.
Your leadership will influence not only the Council but the wider health and care system, creating lasting impact for our communities. You will provide strategic leadership and maintain a clear overview of both corporate priorities and operational delivery, making informed decisions based on risk and evidence.
Leading service redesign, driving transformation and championing innovation within Adult Social Care, you will achieve improved outcomes whilst delivering efficiencies and cost reductions. Working collaboratively to build trusted relationships with Members, partners, and stakeholders, you will influence outcomes and ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and national policy to shape local strategies that reflect community needs, delivering services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
