About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Employee Services Assistant to join our Payroll Team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring payrolls are processed accurately and on time, while providing excellent customer service and supporting best practice across payroll and pension administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payrolls.
- Carry out quality assurance checks to maintain high standards.
- Respond to internal and external payroll queries, promoting positive customer relations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, local policies, and best practice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll, pensions, and HMRC regulations.
- Support workload monitoring to meet KPI’s and deadlines.
- Assist in reviewing and updating payroll processes.
- Identifying training needs and contribute to service resilience.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of payroll and pensions processes (or willingness to learn).
