The role:
The School Organisation Manager will lead the planning and delivery of school organisation across Liverpool. This is a key position, ensuring the city has the right school places in the right locations, now and in the future.
Key responsibilities:
- The School Organisation Manager will contribute to the School Organisation Policy and Pupil Place Planning Strategy
- As School Organisation Manager, the post holder will oversee pupil forecasts and manage statutory school changes
- The post holder will advise Schools Forum on Growth Fund and Falling Rolls Fund
- The School Organisation Manager will prepare business cases for capital investment and contribute to housing and infrastructure planning
- The post holder will work with schools, MATs, dioceses and partners to deliver joined-up solutions
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong knowledge of school organisation legislation and funding
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Experience of presenting cases to senior decision makers
