Assistant Team Manager - Cared For Team

We are recruiting to Assistant Team Manager posts for our Corporate Parenting service to support our Cared for Children teams. The team we are recruiting to is the cared for teenage team for young people aged 16 to 18. Our goal is to help our young people within this team transition to adulthood with great independence skills and a pathway plan that will help them achieve their potential. The service was rated Good in our recent Ilacs so you will be building on a solid base of good practice with a passionate and committed staff group.

As an Assistant Team Manager, you will have direct responsibility for a small number of children whilst playing a vital role in supporting the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of a team of Social Workers and other professionals in the delivery of statutory and legislative duties and requirements. You will be critical in ensuring the key performance targets as they apply to the team, the service and the Council are met.

  • We offer competitive salaries between SCP 36-39 £47,181 - £50,269. There is also a ‘Market Rate Supplement’ of £2,000 per annum attached to the role.
