Our Team:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed individual to join our Fostering and Children in Care Teams, as an Administration Officer. Our Teams are dedicated to supporting children by recruiting and supervising foster carers, arranging and monitoring placements, and delivering care planning and practical support to promote each child’s safety, stability and long-term wellbeing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual who enjoys working in a varied and busy environment and has previous administration experience, specifically minute taking.

You will be primarily based at Rutland house in Runcorn, with some flexibility for home/agile working, and will provide support for colleagues and clients of Halton Borough Council’s Children’s Services.

Hours: 37 per week

Your Contributions:

Some responsibilities of the role include:
• Organising/attending meetings; taking/distributing minutes and preparing/sending out agendas

• Data entry

• Financial administration

• Responding to queries and providing information and advice about the Council’s services

• Providing general administrative support

For this role, it is vital that you have previous experience of note/minute taking and organising meetings, as well as experience of undertaking a wide range of general administrative tasks. You should also have IT experience, inc. Microsoft applications, and the ability to work to deadlines.
