Assistant Access to Files Officer
Sefton Council is seeking to appoint a permanent, full-time Assistant Access to Files Officer to enable service users and former service users to access their personal social care records, as well as responding to disclosure requests from other partners such as the Police, the NHS and other Local Authorities.
The post-holder will be responsible for locating, copying and redacting files, and liaising with service users to provide information in a supportive and sensitive manner.
The post-holder will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of supporting individuals to deal with sensitive personal information.
A good working knowledge of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 is essential but specific training will be offered.
