Transformation Project Manager

Sefton Council is delivering an ambitious Transformation Plan that underpins our Corporate Plan and shapes how we support our communities. Our Corporate Transformation Delivery Team is central to this, and we're looking for a Project Manager who’s motivated by meaningful, organisation‑wide change.

As a Project Manager, you'll work across the Council on varied, high‑impact projects from improving customer pathways and redesigning processes, to supporting major savings and efficiency programmes, strengthening service models, and helping teams deliver better outcomes for residents.

We’re looking for someone who builds strong relationships, communicates well, and brings structure and curiosity to problem‑solving. If you enjoy variety, collaboration and helping turn ideas into practical change, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference.

You’ll join a supportive, ambitious team with a clear purpose and a strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement. If you want to shape the future of local services and be part of an exciting transformation journey, we’d love to hear from you.

This post is a Fixed term post for 12 Months covering Maternity Leave.

If you would like to chat about the role please email lauren.rastall@sefton.gov.uk and we can arrange a call.

Closing Date - 29/03/26

Provisional Interview Date - 08/04/26 & 09/04/26

We reserve the right to close this vacancy if a high volume of applications are received.
