Job title: Senior Digital Marketing Manager
A bit about us:
Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership (LCRDP) is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the region. Owned by both Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, it is responsible for promoting the six Local Authority areas as a global destination for visitors, conferences and investment. Its remit includes communicating the city region’s brand positively and imaginatively to local, national and global audiences. Working with partners in business, cultural organisations, educational institutions and community groups it promotes Liverpool City Region (LCR) as a great place to live, work, visit, invest and study.
Lead the Digital Future of a Global Destination
Liverpool City Region is one of the UK’s most recognisable and influential destination brands—known worldwide for its culture, creativity and unforgettable visitor experiences. As the Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership we promote all six Local Authorities as a world-class place to live, work, visit, study and invest.
We are now looking for an innovative and strategic Senior Digital Marketing Manager to shape, evolve and elevate our digital presence, leading the development of digital platforms, content, campaigns and customer experience that connect audiences locally, nationally and internationally.
If you’re a digital leader who loves using data, creativity and technology to drive engagement and growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark.
The role:
As Senior Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of LCRDP’s Digital Marketing Strategy, ensuring our digital channels—from websites and apps to social media and e-communications—are engaging, user-centred and effective at driving visitor numbers and revenue growth.
You’ll manage a dedicated digital team, oversee a significant multi-channel budget, and act as the digital lead for major campaigns, events, and destination promotion.
This is a hands-on, strategic role in a fast-paced environment where you will champion innovation, improve user experience and support the wider ambitions of the Destination Management Plan.
- Develop and deliver the Digital Marketing Strategy to increase engagement, visitor growth and customer retention
- Lead all digital channels including website, app, e-communications and social media, ensuring high-quality content and a seamless user experience
- Create and manage paid digital media campaigns, influencer activity and digital elements of wider marketing campaigns
- Use analytics tools to monitor performance, report on trends and drive data-led improvements.
· Oversee digital budgets ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI
Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and ensure SLAs are met
Support stakeholders across the organisation with expert digital advice and guidance

- Agile working (role dependent) - a “Flexibility First” approach to agile working, where flexibility is the norm rather than the exception
- Part of the Local Government Pension Scheme – option to join the AVC Scheme
- Progression - opportunities and training through a wide range of high quality learning
- Health and Wellbeing - offer including Employee Assistance Programme
- Cycle to Work and Travel Pass Schemes
- Drive Time – a salary sacrifice car lease scheme
