Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership (LCRDP) is the Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the region. Owned by both Liverpool City Council and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, it is responsible for promoting the six Local Authority areas as a global destination for visitors, conferences and investment. Its remit includes communicating the city region’s brand positively and imaginatively to local, national and global audiences. Working with partners in business, cultural organisations, educational institutions and community groups it promotes Liverpool City Region (LCR) as a great place to live, work, visit, invest and study.
Lead a Creative Studio at the Heart of One of the UK’s Most Iconic Destination Brands
Liverpool City Region is known across the world for its culture, creativity and energy. Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership is responsible for promoting the city region as a vibrant place to live, work, visit, invest and study.
We are now seeking an exceptional Studio Manager to lead our in-house creative team, delivering bold, imaginative design work that elevates our brand and showcases one of the UK’s most powerful destination identities.
The role:
As Studio Manager, you will oversee a dynamic creative studio producing high-quality concepts and full graphic design outputs across a broad range of brands, campaigns and projects. You'll manage a team of designers, act as the main point of contact for internal clients, and ensure the smooth, efficient running of all studio operations.
You will bring leadership, creativity and commercial awareness to the role—championing quality, driving productivity and ensuring design work aligns with strategic priorities across the Liverpool City Region’s visitor economy.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the creative studio, allocating work, overseeing schedules and maintaining workflow processes
- Act as the primary point of contact between the creative team and internal/external clients
- Present creative concepts to stakeholders, demonstrating alignment with strategic goals
- Manage external creative suppliers, including freelancers, photographers and contractors
- Oversee project management from briefing through to delivery, including deadlines, budgets and resource allocation
- Drive innovation, exploring new technologies and creative approaches
- Collaborate with LCRDP, Liverpool City Council and Combined Authority teams to maintain brand consistency across platforms
