Join us at Wirral Council and help shape a brighter future for our residents. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Intelligence Analyst to turn data into insight, supporting evidence‑based decision‑making across the organisation and with our partners.
About the role: permanent
As part of our team, you will:
- Analyse, interpret and present complex data to inform strategic planning and service improvement.
- Lead on creating high‑quality business intelligence, dashboards and reporting tools.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to develop innovative analytics approaches.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying trends, challenges and opportunities.
- Promote best practice in data quality, governance and compliance.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility and the chance to work on meaningful projects that directly impact local residents.
About the candidate:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience in data modelling, visualisation and using tools such as Power BI.
- Communicates complex information clearly to a wide range of audiences.
- Works collaboratively, builds positive relationships, and champions innovation.
- Is proactive, curious, and committed to improving outcomes for Wirral communities.
- Holds a relevant degree or equivalent experience in a data‑driven role.
