About the role 

An exciting opportunity has arisen. We are seeking to recruit to recruit a Senior Practitioner within Liverpool’s Youth Service, which sits within the Children and Young Peoples’s Services Directorate. 

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Community and Voluntary Youth Sector and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Liverpool’s refreshed Youth Offer Plan which we are currently co-producing with neighbourhood youth services and young people.

 The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive experience of working directly with partners to ensure high quality universal youth and play offer
• Experience of multi-agency working across a wide range of stakeholder such as Leisure Services, Community Services, Neighbourhood Services, Fire and Rescue Services and Police Services
• Management, supervisory and mentoring experience 
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good problem solving and negotiation skills
• JNC level 6 (degree level) qualification in youth and community work
