Housing Delivery Officer
About the Role
As a Housing Delivery Officer you will have a bird’s eye view of devolution in action for the Liverpool City Region. You will support the Housing Delivery team to allocate its National Housing Delivery Fund to bring forward new homes which meet the need, tenure and type required to see the City Region flourish. You will work closely with our constituent Local Authorities, Registered Providers and with the private sector and will have some understanding of the needs of these key stakeholders. You will be keen to make an impact by learning how the Combined Authority can direct its funding streams and resources.
This role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents across the City Region and wider; in terms of responding to this Government’s targets for new homes but also in pursuing the Mayor’s commitment to climate action and Net Zero targets.
About the person
You should have an awareness of the development and planning process, financial viability and have the written and oral skills to support internal appraisal and due diligence to take projects through the CA’s governance procedures. You will support the team with the monitoring, reporting and evaluation of projects
