About the Role

As a Generic Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:

• Work with adults with a wide range of needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, older adults, and carers.
• Complete strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans.
• Undertake safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.
• Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary agencies, carers and families.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and choice, in line with the Care Act 2014.
• Contribute to a positive team environment where learning and reflective practice are encouraged.

You will join one of our friendly, supportive teams where your professional autonomy is respected and your development is prioritised.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Have completed your ASYE and are ready for more complex, varied casework
• Are confident in applying the Care Act 2014 and related legislation
• Can bring strong assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills
• Value partnership working and person-centred approaches
• Are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
