We are now seeking experienced Social Workers who have completed their ASYE programme and are ready to take the next step in their professional journey. If you are passionate about strengths-based practice, partnership working, and achieving positive change, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Generic Social Worker within Adult Social Care, you will:
- Work with adults with a wide range of needs, including mental health, physical disabilities, older adults, and carers.
- Complete strengths-based assessments and develop person centred support plans.
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries, applying professional curiosity and sound judgement.
- Work collaboratively with health partners, voluntary agencies, carers and families.
- Promote independence, wellbeing and choice, in line with the Care Act 2014.
- Contribute to a positive team environment where learning and reflective practice are encouraged.

What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Have completed your ASYE and are ready for more complex, varied casework
- Are confident in applying the Care Act 2014 and related legislation
- Can bring strong assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills
- Value partnership working and person-centred approaches
- Are committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
