Business Support Minute Taker
Case Conference Minute Taker – Safeguarding Service.
Grade E,
1 x Permanent Post: 36 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Children’s Services, Locality Services – 3rd Floor Magdalen House, Trinity Road, Bootle. L20 3NJ
Applications are invited for the above post. This post provides an exciting opportunity to join Childrens Social Care.
The main duties are to minute Initial child protection meeting and Child protection Conference’s and to produce comprehensive, verbatim minutes in relation to meetings, which may be required by the Court etc... Given the very nature of the work of the teams, the postholder must be able to deal with highly confidential and extremely sensitive information.
The postholder will also be required to communicate with social workers and professionals both face to face and via the telephone regarding such sensitive issues.
The successful candidate will be required to attend face-to-face meetings this entails direct contact with families when attending meetings. It is therefore essential that the postholder has the ability to cope with these aspects of the role.
The post holder will need to be literate and numerate with good organizational skills and interpersonal skills. The ability to take clear and concise minutes is essential, as has a Word Processing qualification to RSAII/60 wpm or equivalent
