We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Learning Assistant to join our EYFS team (Nursery/Reception). This is an exciting opportunity to support children at the very start of their learning journey within a nurturing and inclusive Early Years environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning within the reception class, helping children to develop socially, emotionally and academically through engaging and purposeful activities. They will also support the school’s Christian ethos and be committed to nurturing pupils’ self-esteem, self-discipline and love of learning, providing strong foundations for progress in key basic skills.
NVQ Level 2 with early years qualification or above is desirable as is experience of working in a relevant primary phase as a Learning Assistant supporting the class teacher and learners.
