Eccleston Lane Ends is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative temporary Teacher to join our friendly and committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued.
The Governors of our caring, vibrant and outstanding school are seeking to appoint a temporary teacher to join the Eccleston Lane Ends team from 1st September 2026. The appointment will initially be for one year due to recruitment at a senior level. The post would suit an ECT or a more experienced teacher. The role will be exciting, varying and diverse and will involve teaching Phonics, Maths and English in our bespoke support class in the mornings and teaching in Ks1 and Ks2 in the afternoons.
The person we appoint will:
- has experience of teaching in a primary school preferably with children with SEND
- is able to plan creatively and effectively to meet the needs of all children in the class
- possesses a strong and secure subject knowledge
- demonstrates outstanding practice and works well within a team
- is innovative, inspirational and passionate about children’s learning
- is highly motivated, with energy and enthusiasm
- will set high expectations of all children’s learning, attitude, behaviour and care
- is an excellent communicator
- is self-reflective and able to improve their own practice and outcomes for children
- is eager to develop their skills and experience
- is able to manage their time effectively
- is committed to the safeguarding, welfare and personal development of young people
- be IT literate and able to use relevant software
- will make a positive contribution to school improvement
- will contribute to the wider life of school
