Making A Difference as an Environmental Team Leader in Place Services
As an Environmental Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering a quality recycling and waste operation across the borough to support the local community. You will work closely with the Environmental Team Managers to ensure safe collection of scheduled recycling and waste collections.
You will work as part of a team to complete daily routes to ensure the local area is in a clean and tidy state.
A good understanding of recycling and waste collection procedures will aid you in this role. As well as being comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
You must ensure you follow safe working practices and health & safety policy. You must be comfortable and confident in being able to communicate with managers, colleagues, and members of the public as necessary in accordance with council policy.
The duties of this post will be carried out on a Thursday and Friday.
