Lansbury Bridge is a Special School which caters for the needs of 243 children and young people aged 4-14. All of our pupils have complex needs and an EHCP in place. The majority of our pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC. A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.

There is an expectation the successful candidate will work across school, however, we would welcome experience of early child development. Experience of working with children with SEN and ASC/behavioural difficulties would be an advantage.

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
• Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
• Make accurate and productive use of assessment
• Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment

• Demonstrating consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
