The Governors of Newton-le-Willows Primary School are seeking to appoint an outstanding Safeguarding and Pastoral Manager.
We are a busy three form entry Primary School with a team of staff committed to ensuring the needs of all children are at the heart of everything we do. We offer an inclusive environment to uphold our school vision – ‘Nurture the Potential to Succeed.’
We are looking for a new Safeguarding and Pastoral Manager to join our school to cover a seconded member of staff for approximately 12 – 18 months. This post will cease when the postholder returns.
Part of this role will be to carry out the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team; complete safeguarding referrals and documentation; work with our Education Welfare Officer to lead attendance across school; be able to work effectively with multi-agency partners and uphold our school’s values: Self-motivation, Teamwork, Resilience, Independence, Vision and Emotional Intelligence.
This post is integral to the ethos and provision offered by our school and will be a key role in our large and successful team. As part of this role, you will work closely with our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, SENCo, and Education Welfare Officer.
Our Safeguarding and Pastoral Manager will:
