We are committed to investing and developing in our Business Support Team and making use of our apprenticeship levy funding to do so. As such, we are seeking a Career Grade Data Analyst / Information Officer to join our Team, reporting to the Business Support Unit Manager. This is a permanent contract within the Council’s Transactional HR, Payroll and Pensions Department.

You will assist in the administration, maintenance and development of reporting frameworks across all HR & payroll systems to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.  You will also assist in the creation, development and production of a wide range of HR, Payroll and Pensions management information, reporting and information-based solutions that will effectively support the Council.

The Career Grade scheme offers excellent prospects for career development, with the scheme including a Progression Plan providing a pathway for employees to progress as their skills, knowledge and experience develop. Successful candidates would be appointed at a grade commensurate with their experience.

To join at the higher grades (Grade H or I), you will either have an NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject, e.g. Data Analyst Apprenticeship Qualification (Level 4) or equivalent experience.

Progression through the Career Grade is dependent upon achieving and demonstrating both professional development (qualifications) and personal competency in the role as set out in the Job Description and Person Specification.
