Team Leader - Work and Health Pioneer Programme
New and exciting opportunity to work on the DWP’s Work and Health Pioneer Programme – supporting economically inactive individuals with health conditions and/or disabilities back into work, training and/or self-employment.
We are looking for a committed individual who has proven experience of managing or leading a team working in a results driven culture including managing and monitoring contract performance and quality against agreed milestones and outputs to work within the Council’s Employment, Learning and Skills division. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance, supervision and development of systems and processes for the Work and Health Pioneer Programme in order to draw down appropriate funding for the service and comply with inspection and funding regimes.
Working under the direction of the one of the Service Managers, the postholder will ensure accurate and compliant storage of all data held on the systems. Timely reviews and accurate transmission of this data in a variety of forms to prime contractor/DWP: In particular, statutory funding agencies in order to draw down appropriate funding for the service and comply with inspection and funding regimes.
You are required to line manage a small team of the Work and Health Pioneer Programme Employment Specialists/Advisors. Responsible for the development of the Work and Health Pioneer Programme project team with reference to the relevant management guidelines, strategies, quality service standards and programmes of work.
You will undertake quality assurance checks/caseload reviews to ensure contract requirements and service standards are me in line with DWP requirements.
You will be required to work closely with the Division’s Managers and Lead Officers in ensuring a joined up employment, learning and skills service for participants.
The postholder will be educated to NVQ Level 4 or equivalent level of experience in paid or unpaid work. Have proven relationship management experience with a variety of partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors, particularly in relation to employment and health and have experience of working in a results driven culture including managing and monitoring contract performance and quality against agreed milestones and outputs
