EYFS Teaching Assistant Level 3
The governors, staff and pupils of Redgate Community Primary School are looking for a committed, talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our award winning, friendly Nursery team to cover Maternity Leave.

We are seeking to appoint a Nursery Teaching Assistant who will:
- Work with children to support their learning and general physical development
- Undertake general duties under the instruction of the class teacher to support the aims and ethos of Redgate Community Primary school.
- Have experience of working in an Early Years setting
- Be creative in approach and provide opportunities to develop children’s learning.
- Have the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
- Be a team player and demonstrate a flexible approach.
- Be willing (subject to training) to provide intimate care, manual handling and first aid.
- Participate fully in all aspects of school life.
- Be motivated, passionate and reflective about their work.
- Show a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with staff, parents/carers and families

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS)
Start date will be Monday 15th April 2024 on a twelve month contract
